Corvyn

Deleting your data

Corvyn has no account. Your practice history lives on your phone, and the only copies on our server are the ones listed below. This page says how to delete each one and how long anything is kept.

On your phone

Open the menu and tap Reset progress to delete your practice history, or uninstall Corvyn to delete everything it stored. Both take effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Gold: cloud sync and the leaderboard

With Gold, your synced history and any leaderboard entries are stored on our server, under a one-way code made from a random id attached to your purchase rather than under anything that names you. To delete them:

  1. Open Corvyn on a phone signed in to the store account that holds the subscription.
  2. Open the menu and tap Delete cloud data.
  3. Confirm. Your synced statistics, Challenge runs, leaderboard entries are deleted from the server at once. The copy on your phone is kept.

This works whatever your subscription is doing, including after it has ended. If you no longer have the app, cancel the subscription: everything synced is deleted automatically 180 days after its last sync. Leaderboard weeks are deleted four weeks after they end in any case. Leaving the leaderboard, in the same menu, deletes just your entries.

Puzzle reports

A puzzle you flag with ⚑ sends the puzzle's id, the answer you picked, the app version, platform and generator version, and nothing about you, so a report cannot be traced back to you or looked up by us. Reports are removed from our server once they have been collected for review, and at the latest 30 days after they arrive. What we keep is an anonymous tally per puzzle and answer, which identifies no one.
